Finally

It's completely out of order.

This post is not polished.

But I simply had to get the news out!

Ellie has a new vegetable.

After more than 14 months of stage 1 intro GAPS she finally has more than just zucchini.  She has light green pattypan squash!

She tried it very briefly at the end of last summer and we were unsure.  Then it went out of season and disappeared; we could not get it any more.  It is back at the farmer's market and I could hardly wait to give it to her.

The last 3-4 weeks have included several changes in her daily regimen and each one can be seen, but by far the most important factor has been prayer - and lots of it.

She is back on a very small amount of coconut oil, and her eczema is starting to clear.  And now she has a new vegetable as well.

The Lord our God has heard, and He has answered our prayers.

  3. Hi Nicole, We met you at the Weston Price Conf in Dallas. (I didn't know how to get a hold of you other than to comment here.)
My daughter has been sick for 5 years and we have tried many, many things. We've been on GAPS for 2.5 years and there have been improvements but she is still very ill. I very recently attended a training with Johan Boswinkel and his light device the "Chiren" and I think it could be so helpful for you to find someone close to you who has a device. Children typically heal much faster than adults with this treatment and I would highly recommend it. It is completely non-invasive and can do no harm. If you are interested please read about it here:

There are quite a few youtube videos you can find and here is a nice long lecture and demonstration by Johan when he was in San Francisco last Fall here: http://vimeo.com/30688984 . It's a little long but it will give you a nice background on Johan, his approach, and the Chiren. His approach causes us to think outside the box of what the current ideas in medicine are. I think you will find it valuable to watch. If you are interested in finding a practitioner, I may be able to help you with that as I now have a device and access to Johan. It can be difficult to find a practitioner of the Chiren, because there are so few in the United States, so if you want to find one I will help you find the one closest to you. Where do you live?

Your post about the peter pan squash brought tears to my eyes. Bless you and Ellie and your healing journeys.
